How do I register the phone call multi-factor authentication (MFA) method?

Note: These instructions apply to most users, though your experience may vary slightly. If you need assistance with MFA or SSPR registration, please reach out to the Service Desk.

- Enter your password, then click Sign in.
- If you are prompted to stay signed in, click No.

- On the Security Info page, click Add method.

- Ensure the Phone method is selected, then click Add.

- Ensure Call me is selected, and then enter your phone number.
- Click Next.

- Answer the call on your phone. You will hear a brief automated message.
- Press the # key to verify your login attempt.
Note: Phone calls may originate from different numbers for each verification attempt

- Your phone is now registered. Click Done.

- Verify that your default sign-in method is set to Phone – call. If it is incorrect, click Change to update it.
If you have previously added any other MFA or SSPR methods, they will be displayed here as well.

- Select Phone – call from the drop-down menu.
- Click Confirm.

Phone – call should now be set as the default sign-in method.
